"I have been a patient since 1994. My daughter was born through La Clínica in 1996. When my daughter was three years old, she began to have terrible asthma attacks. Her pediatrician at La Clínica referred her to a pulmonary specialist at Children's Hospital Oakland. She has been hospitalized 6 times. We came very often to La Clínica. All the doctors and nurses soon knew my daughter Rosa by name. She probably has the thickest medical file. My daughter's pediatrician at La Clínica communicated directly with the specialist at CHO. She has experienced incredible improvements." Before her asthma improved, she had a difficult time just leaving the house. During spring, she couldn't go out because of the pollen, and when it was cloudy she couldn't go either because we feared she would get wet. Now she plays like any normal child, she even has swimming classes. Her daily medication has decreased by half."
