At La Clínica, we believe access to dental care is a key component of primary health services. In most cases, tooth decay and gum disease can be prevented with proper care and treatment. Unfortunately, many low-income families do not have health coverage for dental care. To meets the needs of these families, La Clínica's Dental Care Mobile brings a broad spectrum of dental screening and oral health care services directly to children in low-income communities by operating in the elementary schools. Offering this service at public elementary schools provides excellent access to patients, and locates the clinic in a setting that is familiar to both children and their parents.
