To improve children's and adolescents' health, well-being, and success in school, La Clínica provides health care and educational services at five school-based health centers located in at-risk areas of Oakland and San Lorenzo. These clinics include the Hawthorne Elementary School-Based Clinic, Oakland TechniClinic, Tiger Clinic, San Lorenzo High School-Based Health Center, and Roosevelt Middle School-Based Clinic.
At the Hawthorne Elementary School-Based Clinic, we provide first aid and urgent care, physical exams, immunizations, management of chronic illness, preventive care to children in Kindergarten through 6th grades. We also treat children from surrounding schools, including Lazear, Garfield, Jefferson, Whittier, Fruitvale, Franklin, Stonehurst, Howard and El Sobrante elementary schools.
