To improve children and adolescents' health, well-being, and success in school, La Clínica provides health care and educational services at five school-based health centers located in at-risk areas of Oakland and San Lorenzo. These clinics include the Hawthorne Elementary School-Based Clinic, Oakland TechniClinic, Tiger Clinic, San Lorenzo High School-Based Health Center, and Roosevelt Middle School-Based Clinic.
At the San Lorenzo High School-Based Health Center, we provide first aid and urgent care, physical exams, immunizations, family planning and reproductive health, management of chronic illness, health education, tobacco cessation counseling, and social services. These services are also available to students from Royal Sunset High School.
