Our philosophy is that health care is a right and not a privilege. As members of La Clínica de La Raza, our patients have these rights and responsibilities:

- To inform us of any suggestions or concerns about our services
A complaint or grievance may be made by telephone, in writing or in person at any of the clinic sites-all information will remain confidential.
To assure that you get the best possible service it is important that you:
- Call for an appointment or advice before coming to the clinic for care
- Make appointments in advance whenever possible
- Be on time for scheduled appointments
- Cancel 24 hours in advance when unable to keep appointments
- Keep your registration information current
- Establish an ongoing relationship with a provider
- Know the medication(s) you are taking
- Notify us of changes in your address, telephone number, and insurance carrier
- Present your identification cards when you are seen for services
- Always bring your private insurance, Medicare or Medi-Cal cards to every appointment
